    Description

    Condition as seen.     March 1863 Letter from Captain later Lt Colonel Charles Eliphalet Walbridge of the 100th NY Vols, later transfered to the AQM Dept in South Carolina at which time he must have been in that role while writing this letter.  Very interesting content on the departure of General Naglee due to the Political wrangling of Generals David Hunter and John Foster in the Carolina's.  Talks about the time since he left Buffalo and whether he will get his appointment into the AQM dept etc.  Nice.
