    Description

A letter written in pencil to Capt. Carpenter to from Charles Curran.  Curran has been requested to bring some papers to Carpenter and that Lt. Anders has gone to Atlanta at the time that Sherman's Troops are in the area.  The letter is dated Oct. 30, 1864.  Capt. Ovis wants Curran to take over the slaughtering of the Cattle for the 'Pivis'. Thanks for looking.
